Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting. Ensure patients receive comprehensive, safe, and effective treatment throughout their recovery process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer acute inpatient and hospital rehab nursing care in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and response to treatments, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery expectations, medication management, and therapy routines.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with patient mobility, therapy activities, and discharge preparations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current valid CA State RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiac Arrest (CA) certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient or rehabilitation nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessments and coordinate care effectively.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Able to work 5/8 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including float to Medical-Surgical units as required.
