Aircraft WorkerSpecialty: Airframes / Structures / Powerplants / AvionicsLocation: NAS Lemoore, CA Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Clearance: Secret | CAC requiredProvides support of Organizational Level Line Division functions on F-35 aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.Aircraft Worker supporting F-35 aircraft launch and recovery operations.Essential FunctionsPerform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modificationDocument maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systemsEnsure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programsPerform other duties as assignedDutiesPerform Launch and Recovery Operations in F-35 Line DivisionPerform and inspect airframe, flight control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systemsInterpret technical manuals, drawings, and directivesTroubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systemsDocument maintenance actions per NAMP requirementsQualifications2+ years airframe, avionics, or powerplant aviation maintenance experience2+ years fixed wing fighter aircraft maintenance experienceMust be able to work day, swing or mid shift as requiredPlane Captain qualification preferredEngine run qualification preferredFormer CDI/CDQAR preferredSecret clearance requiredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Compensation$34.15/hour + $2.65 H&WBenefits:Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
