A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. You oversee your assigned provider's daily schedule and prepare for each appointment by reviewing medical data in the patient chart. As a true people person, you thrive in this environment as you greet patients warmly upon arrival and escort them to the exam room. You then obtain and document their vital signs, weight, and other necessary patient information. You assist our providers with examinations and procedures and are always a calming presence for our patients. Our CMA team is vital to helping our patients and providers through exams, procedures and appointments, keeping our visits on time and efficient and our patients comfortable.

We have you to thank for our examination and procedure rooms always being in order, set up, and ready for each new patient. Additionally, you perform daily duties such as equipment sterilization, stocking, supply ordering and are intent on maintaining a clean and safe environment. You can also plan on some administrative tasks such as sending consents, uploading and sending results, and managing the necessary documents such as medical records and test results. You enjoy working in our fast-paced fertility clinic where there is always something to do! And, you feel good about the part you play in making sure that each visit is a pleasant experience for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience
• Medical assistant certification
• Available M-F, 7:30-4:00 and rotating weekends as needed
