Security Officer Patrol and Badge Checks

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:30 PM - 07:00 AMTue10:30 PM - 07:00 AMWed10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verify credentials and/or shipping information as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies to the appropriate contact. Observe site operations and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations, while supporting orderly traffic flow around docks, gates, and high-activity work areas. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
