Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Corpus Christi, TX. This position requires at least two years of emergency department experience as an RN. The role involves working in a fast-paced emergency department with a focus on critical procedures such as STEMI and stroke interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as an RN, at least 2 years of emergency department experience as an RN, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with minimum 36 hours per week. Day shift staffing includes 5-7 RNs, 1 emergency room (ER) Tech (11 am - 11 pm), and 1 unit secretary (9 am - 5 pm M-F). Night shift staffing includes 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech (11 am - 11 pm), and 1 unit secretary (5 pm - 1 am M-F).
• Additional Information: The unit boasts a 12-minute door-to-needle time for TPA administration, with the fastest bed assignment time within the Gulf Coast division.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
