Nuclear Medicine TechnologistWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient care and safety.ResponsibilitiesAdminister nuclear medicine and perform related diagnostic imaging procedures.Conduct nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies.Utilize GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850, for high scan load procedures including outpatient and inpatient services.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Provide excellent patient care and maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.Assist in training and mentorship of new staff members as needed.Shift DetailsSchedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00Weekend work required every other weekend, ensuring flexibility for on-call responsibilities.Floating may be required within the specialty and across other units and facilities as needed.QualificationsCurrent ARRT Nuclear, ARRT Radiography, NMTCB certifications, and a valid state license are required.BLS certification is mandatory.Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations.Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Work EnvironmentThe position may include the performance of high-volume scans and procedures with a focus on patient care.
