Scheduler – Home Instead Home Instead is hiring a Full-Time Scheduler for our Daphne, AL office! We are looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduler. The Scheduler plays an important role in coordinating caregiver schedules and ensuring our clients receive the consistent, quality care they need. This is a fast-paced position where things can change throughout the day . The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, solve problems quickly, and remain calm and professional when unexpected situations arise. Schedule Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required Job Responsibilities Manage and maintain caregiver and client schedules Coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, caregiver availability, and qualifications Communicate with caregivers and clients by phone throughout the day Handle caregiver call-outs, schedule changes, and last-minute coverage needs Make frequent phone calls and respond to incoming calls in a professional and timely manner Monitor schedules and proactively identify potential coverage issues Work closely with the office team to resolve scheduling concerns Accurately enter and update information in computer systems Maintain accurate and confidential client and employee records Follow company policies and procedures related to scheduling and client care Participate in the rotating on-call schedule Provide excellent customer service to clients, their families, and caregivers Assist with other office responsibilities as needed Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong telephone communication and customer service skills Comfortable working on computers and learning new software systems Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to adapt quickly when schedules or circumstances change Professional, positive, and dependable attitude Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Previous scheduling, healthcare, customer service, or office experience is a plus What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a job where every day is different .
