Job Summary


Position Summary: Provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Each employee is obligated to deliver highly reliable care while adhering to all the National Patient Safety Goals. This occurs within a learning environment that is supportive and just, where each employee is valued for their contribution to the collective safety of patients, staff and visitors. Of equal importance is each employee's commitment to the value of teamwork in order to promote a unified and spirited workplace.

Education Requirements: Associates degree/CPR Card
