In addition, this position monitors enrollments and makes recommendations to Deans about actions related to course cancellations, additions, and/or room assignments. The person in this role leads summer school and calendar committees to help manage teaching capacity and costs and duty day distributions per university goals. Further, this role provides project management guidelines to academic OAS personnel regarding schedule management; the person in this role trains and educates faculty and academic administrative assistants on efficient use of scheduling systems and the curriculum management system, along with the details and coding associated with these processes. Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree OR Bachelor's Degree plus one year experience working in higher education.
• Organizational and problem solving skills sufficient to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results, meeting deadlines and keeping attention to detail.
• Experience with computerized record keeping system.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstration of strong computer skills. Experience must include extensive use of queries, databases and spreadsheets, and the ability to statistically analyze, interpret, and explain the data.
• Ability to interact successfully with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with confidential information and knowledge of data privacy practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Work Experience in an academic affairs setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to research, analyze, and interpret enrollment and financial data, conceptualize and create new ways of presenting materials for management decisions.
• Knowledge of university and Minnesota State curriculum platforms, such as ISRS, WorkDay, Curriculum Integrated Management (CIM), and Program Navigator systems.
• Experience or familiarity with Faculty Workload Management
• Experience with Event/Classroom scheduling.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, MS Access, and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of federal laws concerning student records and higher education laws.
• Knowledge of SMSU and Minnesota State academic policies and procedures.
