Overview Specialty: Family Medicine. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 36 patient contact hours per week. Call Schedule: 1:5. Practice Detail: Join two very experienced and well-respected Family Medicine Physicians in a busy medical group practice. Facility: Ascension Medical Group Barrington. Location: Barrington, IL. Salary: $265,000.00 - $310,000.00 per year. EMR System: Athena. Responsibilities Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
