Now hiring for AP/AR Specialist - Direct Hire Opportunity - Fully Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Process and record vendor invoices accurately and timely according to company policies and vendor terms.
• Review account numbers on purchase orders and invoices for proper account classifications.
• Match invoices from vendors to company receiving records.
• Prepare and process bi-monthly accounts payable payments.
• Reconcile all vendor accounts and communicate reconciliation with finance partners.
• Establish new vendors in the ERP ensuring proper documentation, payment terms, and account mappings are in place.
• Reconcile Expense Reimbursement Account, Credit Card Accounts, and Bank Accounts.
• Validate vendor tax information with IRS records to ensure compliance and reduce risk of reporting errors or penalties.
• Analyze AP data to determine cash forecasting needs.
• Manage customer invoicing, collections, and credits ensuring timely cash inflow and accurate revenue recognition.
• Generate and distribute bi-monthly customer statements ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
• Review Accounts Receivable Reports and work with sales team and general manager to identify accounts needing additional follow ups.
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist with month end reporting as it relates to AP, AR and reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in related industry (credit function)
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use MS Word and Excel
• Knowledge of an ERP system required
• Experience with accrual-based accounting required
• Knowledge of systems, procedures and Quick Books program
• Accurate, motivated, and personable team member
• Desire and ability to work in fast paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to analyze and present data effectively
• Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
