Registered Nurse - Operating RoomJob Title: Registered Nurse - Operating RoomProfession: Registered Nurse (RN)Specialty: Operating Room (OR)Duration: 13 weeksShift: DaysHours per Shift: 8 hoursExperience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience required.License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required.Certifications:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Must-Have:Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics required.Proficient experience in vascular cases required, including TCAR, TAVR, bypass, endarterectomy, embolectomy, and AV fistula.Proficient experience in general surgery required.Experience with EPIC EMR required.Travel experience within the previous 15 months required.Scrub experience preferred.Spine experience preferred.Description: This position involves quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. Past employees cannot work travel in another market. If a candidate has previously worked travel under any capacity, the separation policy applies. Candidates are required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The unit consists of 141 beds with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Robotics equipment used includes Da Vinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa. A clinical interview pre-screening is required with a local area code. A professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months is preferred.
