Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

Physician Assistant needed for growing Neurosurgery practice

Our client in Central, CT is looking to add a Physician Assistant to their neurosurgery team. This full-time position will work with 1:1 with an established neurosurgeon and team of providers.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position

• Monday-Friday schedule

• Mix of clinic/OR/hospital rounding

• No weekend or call requirements

• Brain and spine cases

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments

• Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients

• Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Qualifications:

• Connecticut PA License

• Knowledge of neurosurgery, treatments and terminology

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
