Registered Nurse PreOp

$2390.47/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care in a surgical setting. The role involves supporting patients in various specialty areas, including Endoscopy, Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Radiology, across flexible day shifts. Responsibilities: Evaluate patient conditions and prepare them for surgical procedures through assessments and documentation. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance. Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care before and after procedures. Monitor patient responses and vital signs during their perioperative experience. Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and safety protocols. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation to meet compliance standards and facilitate continuous care. Qualifications: Valid California RN license with upload verification through Nursys within the last 2 weeks. Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications with valid expiration dates. At least 2 years of RN experience in a surgical or perioperative setting. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of perioperative procedures. Ability to work variable hours and adapt to flexible shift schedules. Proficiency with compliance requirements, including onboarding labs and work history verification.
