Technical Consultant Director (Post-Sales Implementation & Activation)

As Director of Technical Consulting at Ramp, you will lead and own Ramp’s entire post-sales Technical Consultant (TC) organization, playing a pivotal role in driving the onboarding, activation, and ongoing success of our customer partnerships You will oversee a team of highly skilled Technical Consultants who possess deep expertise in our products, industry standards, accounting practices, and ERP systems You’ll own the development and execution of strategies that build trust and confidence with customers, guiding your team to unlock key technical activation milestones and guiding complex integration workflows Working closely with Ramp’s Customer Success and Account Management leaders, you will define and scale the end-to-end Technical Consulting motion, including implementation, expansion, and renewal strategies that drive full adoption of the Ramp platform for our key customers As a go-to-market leader, you will act as the executive owner of Ramp’s technical post-sales motion, serving as a technical and financial thought leader for customers and internal teams alike You will influence product development to enhance Ramp’s value proposition and own technical success from deal close through the broader customer lifecycle, while mentoring and developing your team to operate at scale Own and lead Ramp’s full Technical Consultant function, guiding their professional development, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with Ramp’s strategic goals Partner with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Partners to advocate for integration development that aligns with customer needs Collaborate with Ramp Customer Success and Account Management leaders to ensure customers effectively utilize our product and achieve their goals Support Sales and Post-Sales teams in executing advanced technical and accounting implementations for Ramp Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement, increase renewal rates, and identify opportunities for upselling Work alongside Product, Product Marketing, and Product Operations to create and maintain technical assets and an internal knowledge base of customer use cases and best practices Provide strategic input to the product development process, ensuring that customer feedback and market trends are incorporated Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance One Medical Membership 401(k) including an employer match Unlimited PTO Parental leave Monthly wellness stipend Relocation support to move to NYC WFH stipend Pet Insurance Qualifications Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, driving results and fostering a collaborative culture Proficiency in IdP, HRIS, and/or ERP solutions Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, accounting, or a related field Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management abilities 5+ years in a leadership role, managing technical teams in a SaaS or financial technology environment 8+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing roles A proactive mindset, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment Expertise in accounting systems, controllership needs, and finance/accounting workflows preferred Strong skills in engineering, system design, and technical specification writing #J-18808-Ljbffr RAMP
