Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist - General (Fort Worth, TX)

Summary: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist position in Fort Worth, Texas (76132) - 3-6 month locum opportunity, no call/no weekends, Epic EMR. Board certified/eligible anesthesiologists with regional anesthesia experience encouraged to apply.

• Assignment Length: 3-6 months with possibility of extension
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Shifts per Week: 5 (8-hour day shifts)
• Schedule: No call, no weekends; full-time coverage required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,980 - $10,520 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days (credentialing assistance available)
• EMR: Epic
• Location: Fort Worth, TX 76132 - Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metro area, North Texas anesthesiology job

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as an anesthesiologist; locum tenens experience a plus
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
• Current and unrestricted medical license for Texas or ability to obtain one
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques, including peripheral nerve blocks and spinals
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in perioperative settings
• Comfortable using Epic EMR for documentation and communication

• Provide perioperative anesthesia care across a range of cases: orthopedics, orthopedic spine, general surgery, gynecologic surgery, urology, GI, minor vascular, and breast surgery
• Perform regional anesthesia and neuraxial techniques (blocks, spinals) for surgical patients
• Medical direction of anesthesia care team when required
• Collaborate with surgeons, OR nurses, CRNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and communicate effectively during handoffs

• High-volume, diverse surgical case mix ideal for maintaining and expanding clinical skills
• No call and no weekend requirements to support work-life balance
