Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Operating Room RN – Level 1 Trauma

Schedule: Variable shifts: days/evenings; 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts - Call required: Monday–Friday 2100–0630; Saturday/Sunday 0630–1900 and 1900–0630 - Weekend coverage/holiday coverage as needed

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience - Required specialty proficiency in Neuro or Ortho (must be proficient in at least one) - Experience with DaVinci Xi robot, ophthalmology, and liver transplant (must rate 3/4 in these areas) - BLS certification required - EPIC experience required - NIHSS certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes - Administer medications and assist with procedures as directed - Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout the surgical process - Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Compliance / Notes: RNs must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission - Two professional references required (minimum one from manager/director or supervisor) - Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) - Fingerprinting process is time-sensitive—candidates must complete fingerprints promptly - Submission rules: strict compliance deadline; submit candidate to only one location; RTO required
