Field Service Technician (Lubbock, TX)

Field Service Technician provides on-site and remote technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems across healthcare facilities in the Lubbock/Amarillo area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues, implementing preventive maintenance, and managing service documentation. Candidates must hold CompTIA A+ certification, possess medical device service experience, and meet physical requirements including lifting and extended driving.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems
- Diagnose, service, and resolve hardware and software issues at customer locations
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for healthcare facilities
- Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and provide sales support
- Maintain documentation of service activities and manage company assets
Requirements
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- On-call field service experience in customer-facing environment
- Medical device or electromechanical device service and repair experience
- Computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking knowledge
- Customer Support Certification
- Valid driver's license meeting company auto safety standards
