Software Development Engineer, Aurora Open Source engines

The Aurora organization is looking for software developers in performance engineering to deliver the optimization of open source and cloud native databases. You will build upon AWS’ advanced infrastructure innovations in compute, storage, networking and deliver software optimizations that fully exploits the cloud capabilities. Key job responsibilities1. Design and develop innovative software solutions to further enhance the performance, availability, and durability of Amazon Aurora.2. Collaborate with a team of engineers to push the boundaries of the PostgreSQL engine and storage integration.3. Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.4. Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities within Aurora.5. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to Aurora's functionality.6. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
