Gastroenterology Opportunity Near New Orleans | $650K+ Base Salary | $1M+ Earning Potential
This multi-physician gastroenterology opportunity offers the chance to join a hospital-employed GI program with strong procedural volume and immediate patient demand just outside New Orleans. Based in Houma, this role combines high earning potential with a flexible practice model and modern facilities, allowing you to build a broad, procedure-focused gastroenterology practice. Practice Overview
Hospital-employed gastroenterology position within a well-supported regional medical center
Join an established GI program with consistent referral volume from primary care and specialists.
Immediate demand for upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and general GI procedures
Opportunity to build a procedure-heavy gastroenterology practice with autonomy over clinical focus
Efficient workflow between the clinic, endoscopy suite, and hospital consult services
Modern equipment and dedicated clinical support staff to streamline patient care
Schedule
Flexible weekly schedule designed to balance endoscopy, clinic, and inpatient consults
Ability to structure time between procedural days and the outpatient GI clinic
No required emergency department call
Balanced mix of inpatient consults and outpatient gastroenterology procedures
Compensation & Benefits
Starting base salary of $650,000+ with strong productivity incentives
Total earning potential exceeding $1 million annually based on procedural volume

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
