Job Title Pediatric Operating Room RN - Travel Nurse - Louisville, KY Job Details Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 10 hours days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Pediatric Operating Room RNs will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families, plan long-term care, document medical history, check allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients. Daily tasks include: Assist with moving and positioning of patient. Manage patient care in the OR per hospital policy. Ensure all required paperwork is completed prior to procedure. Watch for signs and symptoms of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia. Remain beside patient until anesthesia is successfully induced. Qualifications Must have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be currently certified in: BLS PALS ACLS 1 year of experience Additional certifications may be required before the assignment. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, lift 20 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and be able to work in a chemical or infectious environment.
