Business Development Manager - Calibration, Certification and Metrology

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for calibration, certification, and metrology services in the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The role combines sales strategy, account expansion, and technical program coordination, requiring expertise in ISO/IEC 17025 standards and instrument qualification.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual revenue targets by expanding existing accounts and prospecting new business opportunities
Develop and execute targeted sales strategy for instrument qualification and calibration services
Conduct approximately 15 in-person client meetings monthly with decision makers
Sell multi-year recurring service agreements and manage annual contract renewals
Maintain CRM pipeline, track proposal status, and report sales metrics to leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration
Minimum 3 years direct sales experience in instrument calibration or metrology services
Experience selling recurring service contracts and asset management programs
Knowledge of regulatory standards: NIST, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
