Travel Physical Therapist - $2,577 per week

Job Summary Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Rockville, Maryland. Start Date: 07/20/2026. Duration: 26 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Requirements Hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTEL. Graduated from an accredited program. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be actively pursuing licensure in your state. Current CPR certification. Additional requirements will be determined by client facility. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic, achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
