Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Position Overview Hourly Pay Range: $30.46 - $45.69 – the hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Location: Highland Park Hospital Hours: Monday‑Friday, 2pm – 10:30pm, with occasional weekend and rotating holiday shifts. What you will do: solve technical and interdepartmental problems related to the various laboratory areas identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or result reporting and take corrective action or notify appropriate supervisory personnel demonstrate good communication and organizational skills work cooperatively with others What you will need: Education: Associate’s degree and the requisite courses to meet CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing. Certification: MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent; ongoing active certification is strongly preferred.
