About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Application Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire application lifecycle and operational management of assigned applications, including support, incident management, problem resolution, and handling user requests. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning our IT applications with our corporate strategy through continuous improvements and process optimizations, particularly in areas such as production, quality, and supply chain management. You will act as the central point of contact for complex application issues, coordinating with external partners and managing performance, service levels, and budgets. Additionally, you will oversee demand management, change management, and release planning, evaluating and prioritizing new requirements for implementation. Leading IT projects, you will be accountable for scope, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and reporting, ensuring successful project delivery. A key aspect of the role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GMP, GdP, and SOX, as well as integrating AI‑driven tools and methods while maintaining security, data privacy, and regulatory adherence. Qualifications Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Management or IT Application Support. Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, along with SQL and interface management skills. Proven experience in project management and change management processes. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GMP, GdP, and SOX is advantageous. Experience with AI use cases in application management is preferred. Analytical and structured working style with strong communication skills. Excellent command of German (C1 level) and fluent English language skills. Implement continuous improvements to applications and business processes, supporting strategic initiatives and system replacements. Serve as the primary contact for complex application issues, coordinating with external partners and managing service levels and budgets. Support the adoption of new technologies and methodologies, including AI and automation, to enhance application performance and compliance.
