Job Description:


- Location: Charleston, SC
- Facility Overview:
- 313-bed facility with a renowned 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center.
- Home to the Joseph M. Still Burn Clinic, Trident Breast Care Center, and South Carolina Institute for Robotic Surgery.


- Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 30 (currently 18; renovations in progress)
- Patient Ratios: 6-7:1
- Staffing: Team nursing approach with techs available; free Charge Nurse support.


- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: BLS & NIH Stroke Scale (certifications can be obtained on-site)


- Schedules and Expectations:
- Shift: 07:00-19:00
- Weekend Requirements: Must work 4 weekends every 4-week scheduling period.
- Holiday Rotation: Required to work holidays in rotation with hospital employees.


- Floating Policy:
- May float to similar units as needed.

- Patient Experience:
- Perform hourly safety rounds and conduct bedside shift reports with patients.

- Work Environment:
