Lourie Center - RockvilleIf you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.The Lourie Center, Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Nurse Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.As the Nurse Specialist you will:Provides support services or consultation to families and staff regarding child’s diagnosis and health issues, including sleep, nutrition, safety, behavior, and other developmental and parenting concerns.Provides community resources (healthcare, Medicaid, REM, SSI, DDA, respite) and other supports.Educates families about MCITP services and obtain background information as needed for assessment report.Participates in eligibility and family assessments and assist in the development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).Provides service coordination to families and collaborate with other professionals on multidisciplinary teams.Attends IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings for medically complex children.Facilitates information sharing and coordination of care between MCITP team and private medical and developmental providers for the child.
