Job Description Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Nurse to join the Medical Surgical - Ortho team. This position will allow you to work primarily with orthopedic patients, while also handling overflow from general surgery and medical patients. The unit is busy and fast‑paced, offering the opportunity to master your skills with a nationally recognized team that has Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. They are a leader in quality measures, celebrate their successes, and recognize hard work. The Work Part‑time Night Shift (2 × 12‑hour shifts weekly) Utilizes the nursing process. Performs patient care and delegates tasks, supervising other patient‑care staff. Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. We are looking for patient‑centered nurses who are committed to providing high quality of care. Candidates should be compassionate, hard‑working, team‑focused, and possess strong time‑management and critical‑thinking skills. Job Requirements Applicable experience: 2 years Registered Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) required. Bachelor’s Degree required.
