Registered Nurse - OR/Neuro/Vascular/Trauma

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing due to the hospital's trauma status. This position requires the ability to provide exceptional care to patients and adapt to the dynamic needs of the Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room and related areas.
• Assist with surgical procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations effectively.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in after-hour call rotations and float between units as necessary.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00. Night shifts may occasionally be required as needed. Weekend coverage is mandatory.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic settings.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must have a valid RN license in California.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
