Job Overview The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. This position is a full-time Customer Service Representative at a pizza store. Responsibilities Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily. Complete orientation and training on the job. Communication Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; calculator self-service is allowed. Accurate cash handling and giving correct monetary change. Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills. Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements with speed (eyes and hands/fingers). Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks, temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or more in some areas, and fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical Demands Standing for most tasks, walking on uneven surfaces, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 lb with a hand truck, carrying 30 lb pizza sauce and other items. Climbing stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and gripping motions required. Reaching up to and above 72 in., moving objects to shelves, and performing hand-task activities such as shaping dough and using a pizza peel. Driver / Store Management Specific Duties Deliver product by car, flyers, or door hangers. Qualifications for Delivery Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
