Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Ashtabula, OH Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The incoming surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide array of orthopedic conditions. Daily duties include conducting outpatient consultations, performing surgical interventions, and managing post-operative follow-up care. Key clinical areas of focus include: Management of fractures, dislocations, and joint pain or swelling. Treatment of ligament and tendon tears, including rotator cuff and labrum repairs. Addressing degenerative conditions such as arthritis, bursitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Specialized procedures involving foot and ankle deformities, bunions, and fasciitis. Administration of corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections. Surgical management of bone infections, tumors, and malunions or nonunions. Care for sports-related injuries such as tennis/golfer's elbow and meniscus injuries. Qualifications & Credentialing To ensure the highest standard of patient care, all candidates must meet the following clinical and administrative requirements: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within five years of eligibility) in Orthopaedic Surgery. Licensure: Applicants must hold an active Ohio medical license or be willing to obtain one. Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required (or a willingness to obtain them). Clinical Experience: Proven proficiency in the procedures listed in the responsibilities section, including total joint care, spine injuries, and hand/elbow pathologies. Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide a recent NPDB Self Query Report (completed within the last 30 days) at the time of presentation. Logistics: Providers must currently reside within a 40-mile radius of the facility or be willing to relocate.
