Location: NW Portland

Pay: $26 / HR

Job Description:

• Assist with foundry pouring operations.

• Stage molds for production of cast parts for the mining industry, which will require lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.

• Operate machinery and equipment to melt metal in pots, pour molten metal into ladles, and transfer molten metal from ladles to molds.

• Will work around molten metal that sits around 3000 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing full PPE that included fire retardant jumpsuit.

• Will work in a covered, but open-air environment. The summer heat will add to the already hot work environment.

• Between the heat the molten metal puts out, wearing full PPE, and the summer heat from candidates must be comfortable working in 100-120 degree work environments.

Essential Skills

• Must have manufacturing experience. Foundry experience is preferred but not required.

• Must be comfortable working in hot work environments around molten metal.

Environment / Shift:

• Day Shift: 4am-2:30pm, Monday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
