Quality Assurance Technician

NOVO's regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.Work within established productivity and quality standards.Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.Keep workstation neat and clean.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industryAbility to work in a noisy fast paced environment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds.Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: (List the minimum requirements for the position.)Degree in Industrial Management, Engineering Operations Management or related disciplines preferred.What we can offer you as a full-time associate:Competitive payPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off Program (PTO)401(k) w/Employer MatchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Medical, Dental, and Vision ProgramsBasic Life/AD&D InsuranceLong-Term Disability (LTD)Why work for Novo Health Services?NOVO Health Services strives to be the employer of choice in the hospital sterile and hygienically clean linen industry.
