Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite | Rotating weekends; primarily Monday–Friday | On-call required (minimum 3 shifts per 6-week schedule, including at least 1 weekend call shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an acute care operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurological, and robotic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, including post-shift call (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM on weekdays) and 12-hour weekend call shifts
• Self-schedule within established scheduling cycles and float between facilities within the state as operationally required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience (hard stop requirement)
• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in at least 2 of the following 3 specialties: orthopedics, neurology, and robotics
• Valid LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Proficiency in all three required specialty areas: orthopedics, neurology, and robotics
• Experience charting in Epic
