Nurse Practitioner

About the Position We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Nurse Practitioner to work in a rural community in Magnolia, MS at Rural Health Clinic. Salary based on experience with an excellent benefit package for an established FNP‑C. Schedule & Patient Load The clinic is open Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The role expects to see 20–25 patients per day, with patients of all ages. Job Summary Responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works under direct supervision of a physician following established guidelines and within the established scope of practice. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Mississippi Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or eligibility for certification Current BCLS certification ACLS certification within six months of hire date Required Skills Basic computer knowledge Electronic Medical Record (EMR) knowledge Ability to perform minor office procedures, apply casts and splints, and suture lacerations Physical Demands Physical demands of the position include vision and hearing requirements, repetitive motion and environmental considerations.
