Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 6-Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient, outpatient, and modified barium swallow (MBS) settings, with flexibility to transition between care areas based on patient needs
• Conduct pediatric feeding and swallowing evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Attend all team meetings occurring during scheduled working hours
• Complete department-specific SLP training and obtain sign-off on Pediatric SLP competencies upon start
• Adhere to departmental standards for patient care and clinical documentation
• Report to and work under the supervision of the Pediatric SLP Section Leader

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
• Independent clinical competency in pediatric feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment
• Active Massachusetts State SLP Licensure required
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified under a local rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in NICU, Pediatric Inpatient, or Pediatric Intensive Care settings
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
• Outpatient clinical feeding evaluation experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and FEES competency
