Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 6-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient, outpatient, and modified barium swallow (MBS) settings, with flexibility to transition between care areas based on patient needs
- Conduct pediatric feeding and swallowing evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatment
- Attend all team meetings occurring during scheduled working hours
- Complete department-specific SLP training and obtain sign-off on Pediatric SLP competencies upon start
- Adhere to departmental standards for patient care and clinical documentation
- Report to and work under the supervision of the Pediatric SLP Section Leader
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
- Independent clinical competency in pediatric feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment
- Active Massachusetts State SLP Licensure required
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Current CPR Certification required
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified under a local rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in NICU, Pediatric Inpatient, or Pediatric Intensive Care settings
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- Outpatient clinical feeding evaluation experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and FEES competency
