As aseniorData Engineer at Booz Allen,you'lluse yourexpertiseto lead data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You'll oversee the development and deployment of pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you'll guide and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.You'lluse yourexpertisein analytical exploration and data examination while you oversee the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients.

In this role, you will also support code environmentsusingPythonand SQL, translating and modernizing analytics workflows across platforms. You'lllead the development of shared libraries and modular code repositories, ensuring maintainability and consistency across enterprise teams. Your experience with Palantir Foundry will be critical as you collaborate on onboarding programs to the platform and drive adoption through training, integration, and architecture support.This positionis located in Atlanta, GA.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, owning, andmaintainingend-to-end production data pipelines

• 5+ years of experience with data architecture, including schema design, Medallion architecture, partitioning strategies, and performance optimization

• 5+ years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences

• 3+ years of experience withPySpark, SQL, distributed dataprocessing in eitherPalantir or Databricks

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, or cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience supervising others and leading deliverables in cross-functional environments

• Ability to obtain andmaintaina Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience withCI/CDpipelinesfor dataengineeringandapp servicesusing Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling

• Experience withGenerative AI, includingRAG, LLMs, and embeddingmodels, and delivering AI-drivenbusinesssolutions

• Experienceimplementingdata quality,observability, monitoring, data security, and enterprise data governance

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, DevOps, and DataOPs practices

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
