Job Description

This role involves assembling containers used for shipping goods in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment. You will perform basic assembly tasks that are repetitive and require consistent lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble containers used for shipping goods according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform basic, repetitive assembly tasks accurately and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Lift and move materials and containers weighing 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis.
• Carry out duties that require frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
• Strong English comprehension skills to understand instructions and safety information.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a role that requires frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and reaching.
• Previous experience in general labor, packing, or production is beneficial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a general labor, packing, or similar hands-on roles.
• Comfort working as part of a team to achieve shared goals.

Work Environment

You will work in a beautiful, new facility as part of a collaborative team. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with earlier finish times on Fridays to help start your weekend sooner. The environment is production-oriented and physically demanding, with frequent lifting, bending, and repetitive motions required throughout the day. Standard work attire suitable for a hands-on, industrial setting is expected, and you will operate in a setting focused on safety, teamwork, and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, ME.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
