$35.00 – $37.00 per hour

AGC Heat Transfer is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist with 3+ years of machine shop experience to support the implementation of new equipment, lead and mentor operators, and ensure high‑quality production of precision parts.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends technical expertise with coaching and team development.

• Set up and operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and resolve issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
• Adjust machine offsets and parameters to maintain tight tolerances
• Train and mentor CNC operators on setup, production, and quality standards
• Collaborate with programmers to validate setup sheets and CNC programs
• Develop and improve work instructions for machine setup and operation
• Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections
• Conduct basic machine maintenance
• Read and interpret G‑Code
• Support additional production tasks as needed

• High School Diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong leadership mindset with a passion for teaching and mentoring
• Solid math skills (feeds/speeds, geometry, trigonometry)
• Ability to read complex drawings and apply tolerances/GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong communication skills and reliable attendance
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to operate material‑handling equipment

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs
• Strong visual acuity for detailed inspections
• Steady hand‑eye coordination for precision measurement
• Ability to sit periodically for data entry and inspections

• $35.00 – $37.00 per hour
