Requirements Qualifications Education:
Must have graduated from an accredited school of occupational therapy. Licenses/Certification:
Current state license as an Occupational Therapist. Current CPR certification. Experience:
Six months experience in a long term care environment preferred.
- Assess patients' functional abilities and limitations to develop customized treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on therapy and oversee interventions that promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Aides.
- Document patient progress and contribute to care planning and team meetings.
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Dedication to punctuality and reliability.
