Management Nuuanu, HI, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1026 Salary Range: $55,680.00 To $65,000.00 Annually Primary Purpose Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for assigned KHO sites. Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate assigned staff; Conduct regular coaching meetings, observations, and performance evaluations; Support staff growth through professional development and individualized coaching; Foster a positive team culture that reflects KHO’s mission and values; Collaborate with Human Resources and administration regarding performance concerns, corrective action, and staff retention; Develop staff schedules and oversee attendance, leave requests, and timekeeping. Program Operations Oversee daily operations of assigned sites; Ensure all services are implemented safely, efficiently, and consistently; Monitor enrollment, attendance, staffing patterns, and site capacity; Coordinate purchasing of site supplies and materials; Maintain accurate inventories of curriculum, equipment, technology, vehicles, and educational materials; Coordinate facility needs including maintenance, repairs, and communication with landlords and site partners; Ensure program vehicles are maintained, cleaned, registered, and safe for operation; Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner. Program Quality Conduct regular site visits to monitor program quality; Provide coaching and feedback to Lead Educational Specialists; Support implementation of curriculum, assessments, family engagement, and educational best practices; Ensure classrooms and learning environments remain developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed; Assist with planning family events, community activities, field experiences, and special projects. Data and Compliance Monitor program documentation for accuracy and completeness; Review lesson plans, assessments, attendance, enrollment, and required reports; Work collaboratively with the DOM and Curriculum and Development Manager to ensure compliance with grant requirements and organizational standards; Assist in collecting and submitting data for grant reporting and continuous quality improvement; Ensure compliance with funding and organizational policies. Community Partnerships Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, community organizations, landlords, vendors, contractors, cultural practitioners, government agencies, and family support organizations; Represent KHO professionally within the community; Serve as a liaison between KHO administration and community partners. Professional Leadership Participate in leadership meetings, planning sessions, and organizational initiatives; Assist in coordinating trainings, meetings, and professional development; Support implementation of new initiatives and organizational priorities; Promote collaboration between program sites. Other Duties Perform additional duties as assigned including reports, documentation, grant activities, emergency response, and organizational initiatives. Work Hours Monday through Friday or as otherwise determined by management; Hours determined by operational needs; Regular and reliable attendance required; Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required. Working Conditions Frequent travel between assigned sites; Travel using personal and/or company vehicle; Occasional travel to neighbor islands and some to the continental U.S; If telework is allowed, must have a designated area in home that is free from distractions and conducive to telework arrangement. Equipment Use May include use of: vehicles (company and personal), electronics (computer, printer, copier, scanner, etc.), software and apps (Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, Quickbase or PIDF/KHO server, etc.), virtual meeting platforms, office tools and equipment (used for site, prepping, office, facility, vehicle maintenance). Physical Sit at desk at least 50% of work time, kneel and bend, lift and carry (up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds), climb stairs, etc.; May participate in strenuous activities which may include loading/unloading of vehicles, washing of the vehicles, mats and tarps; set up/break down of tents; Outdoors: Exposure to sun, wind, dust, vog, animal dander, etc.; Indoors: Exposure to normal office environments, A/C, fans, etc. Communication Exhibit courteous and professional demeanor towards program participants, vendors and partners, staff and administration via verbal, written, physical, and electronic correspondence and in a timely manner; Use professional and respectful interpersonal and organizational skills; Maintain and handle highly confidential information properly; Conduct professional presentations and meetings. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field and two (2) years experience working with keiki ages birth to five and their families; OR Associate degree in ECE, CD, FR, HS, SW, or related field; and four (4) years of experience working with keiki ages birth to five and their families; OR Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and five (5) years of experience working with keiki ages birth to five and their families; Two years of supervisory experience; Have knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture and values. Experience managing multiple staff and program operations; Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Drive (Meetings, Docs, Sheets, Calendar), email, internet researching, and virtual communication platforms. Preferred: Minimum Two-Three (2-3) year working with organizations and social services within the communities of KHO’s target population; Experience supervising multi-site educational or family support programs; Knowledge of curriculum implementation and child assessment systems; Experience working with grant-funded programs; Familiarity with QuickBase or other data management systems; Knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture, ‘ike Hawai‘i, and culturally responsive practices; Experience working with vulnerable, underserved, or at-risk families. Driving Access to reliable transportation; Valid driver's license; A safe and responsible driving record; Current no-fault auto insurance, with at least $100k in bodily injury liability per person and $25k in property damage liability (operating personal vehicle for work purposes). #J-18808-Ljbffr
