A dynamic retail company that specializes in the distribution of audio, DJ and lighting equipment is searching for a Assistant Product Manager to join their team in Las Vegas, NV! This new role offers a unique opportunity to dive into product management within the electronics/music space. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in electronics or music equipment product management, and be eager to contribute to the company’s growth and success. The position offers a hybrid schedule and the company has a creative and goal-oriented culture with no dress code, making them a great place to work for candidates with a passion for the music industry.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 DOE Responsibilities:- Assist in the management and coordination of schedules, sample testing, and team organization
- Communicate effectively with vendors and participate in design and development cycles
- Conduct market research and work closely with manufacturers
- Maintain an up-to-date database for the internal team and customers
- Assist with product launch schedules, ensuring the team stays on track with deadlines
- Create presentations and materials for meetings
- Travel to tradeshows, including events in Las Vegas, Anaheim, and Atlantic City, approximately three times a year
- 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Product Manager, including internships, ideally in the electronics/cases/music space
- Experience in product management, specifically selling products in a retail environment
- Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Slack, Asana, or similar project management software
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Photography/Videography knowledge, Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge), familiarity with Professional Audio, DJ Equipment, Stage Lighting, and DMX knowledge are all pluses
- Must be able to travel to trade shows approximately 3 times per year
