Job Description As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Walton, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and support security‑related operations with professionalism and strong communication. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Schedule: Day Time, Monday through Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help deter unauthorized access to the location, dock areas, and restricted spaces. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns according to site protocols. Support screening of visitors, vendors, and incoming traffic, maintain required logs and records, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and parking areas where conditions may vary by site. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
