is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our specialty practice in Camillus, NY. What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our physicians and clinical team to provide high-quality care and ensure a positive patient experience. Your responsibilities will include: Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures.

Room patients, obtain vital signs, and accurately document medical histories and clinical information in the EMR.

Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including sanitation and supply stocking.

Administer medications and injections as directed by the supervising physician and within applicable scope of practice.

Perform phlebotomy and other routine clinical tasks.

Collect, label, and process specimens for laboratory submission.

Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, procedures, and follow-up appointments.

Provide patients with clear and compassionate pre- and post-procedure instructions.

Respond to patient questions and communicate concerns appropriately to the clinical team.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation.

Follow HIPAA, infection-control, safety, and practice policies and procedures.

Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.

What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required.

CMA or RMA certification preferred.

2+ years of clinical experience

in a medical office, specialty practice, or similar healthcare setting preferred.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Strong phlebotomy and vital-sign skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced specialty practice.

Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Dependable team player who takes pride in providing excellent patient care.
