Facilities Custodian
Our client, a leading organization in facility management, is seeking a Facilities Custodian to join their team. As a Facilities Custodian, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Custodian
Location: Boise, ID
Pay Range: $21 an hour
Shift: Mon-Fri 3pm -11:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Monitor building condition and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, or basic troubleshooting
- Maintain floors through waxing, buffing, or carpet cleaning as required
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety procedures and standards
