Senior Project Manager

A tech services company in Illinois is looking to add a new Senior Project Manager to join their growing team in Chicago. This role will lead complex application development projects within a revenue systems portfolio, partnering with development teams and senior leadership to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and delivery.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate project delivery across application development initiatives within the revenue systems portfolio
Manage project timelines, resources, milestones, and day-to-day execution with development teams and business stakeholders
Oversee multimillion-dollar budgets, forecast expenditures, analyze variances, and support corrective actions
Prepare clear presentations and status updates for senior leadership and working teams
Track risks and issues, escalate as needed, and support successful project outcomes through strong stakeholder coordination

Qualifications:

10+ years of Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in the IT industry, including development work and customer interaction
Experience managing projects, resources, and budgets
Proficiency with Microsoft Project

Desired Skills:

PMP certification
Experience building executive-level presentations
Experience supporting large-scale application development initiatives
