Your Day as a Director of Nursing - DON

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Christian Care Centers- Mesquite, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing the nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, conducting staff evaluations, monitoring patient care, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. What We're Looking For in a Director of Nursing - DON

To excel as the Director of Nursing (DON) at Christian Care Centers- Mesquite, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• A current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric, long-term care, and/or psychiatric nursing.
• Specialized expertise in palliation and end-of-life care preferred.
• 5 years of experience supervising staff in long-term care or healthcare settings
• Basic computer skills, and the ability to ensure punctuality and reliable transportation.
