Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up and rebuild residential construction in Pacific Palisades. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for daily job site operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, and quality control on single-family home projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations for residential construction/rebuild projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work meets plans, specs, and code
- Maintain and update project schedules; flag and resolve delays proactively
- Conduct daily site walks, safety checks, and quality inspections
- Communicate progress, issues, and needs to Project Manager/ownership
- Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and site safety compliance
- Coordinate inspections with LA County/City building departments
- Maintain daily logs, photos, and progress documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Superintendent on residential construction (custom home or production home building preferred)
- Experience with rebuild/insurance-related construction a plus
- Strong knowledge of residential building codes, permitting, and inspection processes in LA County
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Strong subcontractor management and scheduling skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
