This full-time role (37.5 hours/week, August 24th – June 4th) includes placement in one school with a choice between Early Childhood (ECSE: Birth–Age 5) and K-12 students, depending on your interests. The assignment’s structure allows you to focus on what you do best, with panel interviews conducted remotely for your convenience and timely feedback.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure for VA, such as:
  • Special Education: General Curriculum (PreK – 12)
  • Special Education: Adapted Curriculum (PreK – 12)
  • Early Childhood Special Education (Birth – Age 5)
• Experience supporting diverse learners and crafting individualized education plans
• Passion for inclusive education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Employ evidence-based instructional methods for academic and social-emotional success
• Foster a supportive, adaptable classroom environment
