Staff PM: AI‑Forward Developer Experience & Test Pyramid

As a Staff Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will lead the mission to build an industry‑leading, AI‑forward developer experience for the engineers at Snowflake. This high‑impact, high‑ownership role makes you the single‑threaded owner (DRI) for our internal developer platform and product validation strategy. Responsibilities Drive AI‑Native Validation: Lead the transformation of our testing suites by integrating AI to generate test cases, identify regression risks, and optimize test selection, accelerating time‑to‑impact. Redefine Developer Workflow: Build an AI‑forward developer experience that removes friction from the inner loop of development, ensuring engineers can validate and iterate on their ideas in seconds, not hours. Architect the Test Pyramid: Define the vision and roadmap for product validation, shaping the strategy across unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for an optimized, AI‑assisted validation model. Manage a Strategic Portfolio: Oversee a diverse set of developer‑facing capabilities, including development environments, local testing tools, and programmatic interfaces (APIs/SDKs). Partner Across Engineering: Work closely with the CI/CD PM and engineering leadership to ensure a seamless handoff between the developer's local environment and our global deployment pipelines. Drive Technical Strategy: Collaborate with engineering and data science to make high‑stakes decisions about architecture and protocol standards, ensuring our internal platform scales with Snowflake’s growth. Qualifications 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of shipping developer‑facing tools or technical infrastructure. Deep Technical Fluency: Strong background in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with expertise in testing strategies and automated validation at scale. Platform‑First Mindset: Experience building platform products that serve other engineers and treating internal users as high‑value customers. AI‑Native Thinking: Innate curiosity and proven ability to treat AI as a collaborator to solve complex engineering bottlenecks. Strategic Execution: Ability to take broad, complex problem spaces—such as optimizing the test pyramid for a distributed system— and decompose them into actionable, multi‑quarter roadmaps. Data‑Driven Decision Making: Highly analytical mindset, using metrics (e.g., test flakiness, build duration, developer sentiment) to prioritize backlogs effectively. Bonus Points For Previous hand‑on experience as a software engineer. Experience building or managing internal developer platforms in a high‑growth cloud environment.
